For over 69 years, Holloway’s Bakery has had the pleasure of making fabulous wedding, quinceañera, and birthday cakes for five generations of Laredoans and south Texans.  Bill and Elena Holloway, and their son, Guy,  are the second and third generation of the family to continue the tradition of high quality baked goods.

In February, 1946, Guy and Cora Holloway bought the Dandy Bakery on Iturbide Street in downtown Laredo, then in 1962, their son, Bill, a graduate of Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, MN, opened the second location on Guadalupe street.  Elena joined the bakery when she married into the family in 1975.  With the most talented decorators and bakers, Holloway’s has stayed on the cutting edge of the latest trends creating unique works of art in frosting.
